The Director of Nursing position is responsible for conducting initial assessments, performing wellness assessments, delivering health promotion services, and fostering communication with residents and family members.Responsibilities
- Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents
- Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident
- Delivers health promotion services offers disease prevention counseling provides self-care education to residents engages with residents in a compassionate manner creating lasting experience fosters regular engagement physicians pertinent healthcare providers family members hires trains schedules leads clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences coordinates Community infection control program maintains state regulatory compliance develops oversees Medication management program contributes toward Quality assurance performance improvement initiatives complies confidentiality privacy resident information
