    Description

    Hendrick Toyota Merriam is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Examine customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
    • Estimate the cost of repairs and provide accurate information to customers
    • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and according to dealership guidelines
    • Document services performed and maintain accurate records
    • Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines to ensure high-quality work

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
    • Valid driver's license and certification as a technician with respective manufacturers
    • State inspection/emissions license required by state
    • Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system and learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system
