    The Group Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving group business and achieving revenue goals for Carneros Resort and Spa.

    Sales and Revenue Goals:

    • Secure new accounts through proactive solicitation calls, property tours, and client entertainment.
    • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and solicitation call goals to support the resort's financial objectives.

    Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:

    • Maintain strong visibility within the local community and relevant industry organizations.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop effective sales plans for group segments.
    • Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

    Guest Experience and Service Standards:

    • Participate in special promotions and initiatives to enhance the resort's market presence.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the resort's operations, amenities, and policies.
    • Approach all guest interactions with professionalism, warmth, and a service-oriented attitude.

    Administrative and Team Collaboration:

    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sales or General Manager.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless group events and client satisfaction.
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and documentation in a timely manner.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Previous hotel sales experience, preferably in a luxury setting.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with negotiation and influencing abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer knowledge.
    • Valid driver's license required.

    Preferred Attributes:

    • Familiarity with Napa and Sonoma markets is a plus.
    • Active participation in local community and industry organizations.
