    Responsibilities Psychiatrist Opportunity - Residential Treatment Center Provo Canyon School , with locations in Provo and Springville, Utah, is a 24/7 secure behavioral health treatment center for adolescents aged 13 through 17. We coach, teach and mentor students who have psychiatric disorders. Our goal is to provide treatment that results in positive changes, allowing these youth to return to their families and communities.     Your role & responsibilities include:
    • Oversee psychiatric functions of the school as assigned
    • Review and approve admissions to the program.
    • Provide consultation for adolescent psychiatric population
    • Provide psychopharmacological therapy for adolescents
    • Regulary evaluate patients who are prescribed psychotropic medications
    • Conduct individual adolescent and family therapy

Qualifications Your qualifications will include: Education : Graduate of an accredited medical school; completed residency in psychiatry, Board Certification required. Experience: Experienced in inpatient psychiatric care, well developed skills in integrating individual treatment approaches into treatment milieu and good working relationships with other attending physicians and staff. Licensure: Valid and current license to practice medicine in the State of UT; current narcotics numbers as issued by the State of UT and USDEA.
