    Overview

    The IT Support Technician I is a hybrid position.
    Inventory Specialist, oversees

    Morristown Medical Center (MMC) IT equipment ordering, storing, receiving and dis positioning

    processes of IT assets, products and supplies. Main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory, pending orders, maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation

    at our MMC campus .
    Responsibilities

    • Monitor supply chain order flow
    • Monitor the negative inventory and address the issues
    • Control and reduce asset discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy for all transfers between sites and departments
    • Generate monthly inventory management report
    • Coordinate, analyze and report on site inventory control processes
    • Coordinate with key team members to resolve inventory issues
    • Adheres to and collaborates in
    the development and implementation of enterprise-wide device asset management policies and procedures

    to

    minimize compliance risk

    and achieve enterprise

    process efficiencies

    • Responsible for the asset life cycle processes planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, harvesting and retirement of site assets
    Qualifications

    Technical Certification, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
    Prior application and/or technical support preferred.
    Very strong ability to multi-task
    Strong MS Excel and Word
