- Perform minor and major fixes if applied to skill set and determined by 615 Ventures
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Do grounds upkeep by power washing sidewalks, collecting trash, etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. chillers/boilers, plumbing, HVAC)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations or assigned projects
- Report issues to the Property Manager
- Knowledge of the inner workings of each property to ensure proper upkeep
- Proven experience as tech or other similar position
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electrical tools, painting, and drywall repair
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
- Familiarity with Google Suite and MaintainX (or similar software)
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with property managers, building owners, and other team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Job Description615 Ventures is a Nashville-based investment firm that creates value primarily through the acquisition and management of real estate nationwide. We currently own and manage 450,000 SF of retail, office, industrial, and residential space in 6 different US markets. Currently, we are focused on the acquisition of long-term, NNN commercial assets, but also have land for build-to-suit opportunities as well as a few commercial redevelopment projects in the pipeline. While we are focused in the greater Nashville area, we underwrite deals in nearly all 48 contiguous US states.
The opportunity
The role of Maintenance Technician will be skilled in performing upkeep tasks such as repairs, installation/replacing, and servicing building systems and equipment as well as working side-by-side with the Property Manager and Property Services Manager. This individual will be responsible for work orders assigned by the Property Services Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly with minimal direction while observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings, tenant spaces, and common areas in the best possible condition.

Salary RangeTechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.Hourly pay range$18—$22 USD
