JOB SUMMARY:

Primary responsibility for performing financial analysis and monthly accounting duties.

Provides support in recording of journal entries, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of reconciliations, preparation of year-end tax packages and special projects, as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares monthly journal entries
Assists with maintaining general ledger accounts and prepares monthly reconciliations
Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for the Division's SOX binders
Assists with preparation of initial income and balance sheet variance analysis for review by the division finance leaders
Assists in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual plan
Assists with House Cost Analysis
Supports Assistant Controller with analysis of overhead performance and develops benchmarks to monitor performance
Reviews overhead performance and develops benchmarks to monitor performance
Prepares reports and analysis to management including, but not limited to variance reports and operational metrics

REQUIRED EDUCATION: (degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: (work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)

Minimum 2 years general accounting or finance experience
Knowledge of accounting theory and practice
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure
