    Part-time Adjunct Clinical Instructor

    The part-time clinical instructor reports to the Department Chair and communicates with instructional faculty overseeing the course/content area they are teaching. Excelsior University provides fully developed courses with materials and activities allowing faculty to focus on students.

    • Responsibilities include providing prompt response to student needs, offering timely formative feedback, demonstrating clinical expertise through selecting supervising evaluating student experiences.

    Clinical instructors also demonstrate commitment to student success by supporting institutional engagement retention initiatives reaching out struggling students collaborating with instructional faculty support staff ensuring access resources impacting success.

    Duties Responsibilities:

    1. Complete institution-sponsored training program adhering all requirements policies identified in the Excelsior University Clinical Faculty Handbook.
    2. Fulfill all responsibilities working 2 non-consecutive weekends at a clinical site during an 8-week course term each consisting of Friday (6 hours) Saturday/Sunday (12 hours).
