RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop GaAs/GaN processes in a semiconductor fabrication facility.
Working with process integration engineers to develop new process to support new GaAs/GaN technologies.
Lead process transfer of new GaAs/GaN process to production including setting up process control chart, defining the new process procedures and process window through corner study.
Tool startup, process qualification, troubleshooting problems, supporting yield enhancement programs, characterizing and releasing process improvementsDevelopment of new processes and equipment evaluation
SPC control of thin film deposition processes and related equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with experience in semiconductor fabrication
Semiconductor device processing background with experience in thin film deposition, dry etch, wet etch, photo, mount and demount wafer, wafer bonding process preferred
Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required
Proficiency expected in design of experiments, statistical process control, and database query tools
Knowledge of fab metrology equipment, failure analysis techniques and process control techniques are required
Applicant will be a self-starter that is capable of integrating diverse process and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues
Project management skills are a plus
Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
Some lifting and standing will be required.
Experience with semiconductor process flow integration and device physics
