    Hillview Health Center is currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant.     About the Position:
    Join a group of passionate individuals who work under the guidance of licensed nursing personnel to provide direct resident care. Contribute to creating a compassionate environment that considers both the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.


    Main Responsibilities:


    Teamwork, hospitality, and resident comfort are key values at our facility, and we expect our staff to embody these principles.

    While the duties listed below are essential, they are not exhaustive:


    • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
    • Ensure cleanliness by changing bed linens regularly and organizing grooming supplies in resident rooms.
    • Help residents move and walk using appropriate devices and techniques.
    • Monitor and record vital signs, weights, food intake, and other relevant information.
    • Rotate and reposition residents as needed to prevent discomfort.
    • Recognize and support residents' choices within the care environment.
    • Participate in data collection for care plans and assist in plan development.
    • Ensure adequate hydration and assist residents during meal times.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in assigned areas.
    • Follow protocols to prevent infections and maintain a safe environment.
    • Attend to resident needs promptly and assist with basic medical tasks.
    • Train and support new staff members when required.
    • Keep up-to-date with safety procedures and emergency protocols.
    • Respect resident confidentiality and preserve their well-being.
    • Uphold attendance and performance standards as per policy.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

    Certified Nursing Assistant - Additional Responsibilities:

    • Conduct health checks and measurements as instructed.
    • Respond to resident calls and requests in a timely manner.
    • Follow proper lifting techniques and body mechanics.
    • Assist in educating and guiding colleagues.
    • Participate in educational programs as required.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
    • Protect residents from harm and uphold their rights and dignity.
    • Ensure residents' personal belongings are safeguarded.
    • Maintain compliance with attendance policies.
    • Follow directives from supervisors and administrators.

    Minimum Requirements


    CERTIFIED:

    • Active Nursing Assistant Certification in the state.
    • Valid CPR Certification.
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
    OR


    NON-CERTIFIED:

    • Enrolled in a CNA program with progress towards certification.
    • Demonstrates organization and attention to detail in tasks.
    • Effective communication skills with a patient and compassionate approach.
    • Genuine interest in caring for elderly and disabled individuals.
    • Abide by Resident Rights and Facility Regulations.
    • Meet physical demands of the role as outlined below.
    • Complete Essential Duties as specified above.
