- Provide one-on-one care to seniors with a variety of care needs, including those with dementia, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assist seniors with daily living activities and provide emotional support
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Encourage social interaction and provide recreational activities when appropriate.
- Document client progress and provide regular updates to caregivers, family members and agency personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards.
- 8+ years caregiving experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with seniors, especially those with dementia.
- Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with medication reminders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a focus on providing exceptional care.

Seniors Helping Seniors an awarding winning home care agency serving all of Northern NY is seeking a mature, dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/Companion to provide exceptional care to two female clients living in Heuvelton, NY.
One client has dementia and will benefit from support at home one time weekly for a few hours.The other client requires assistance for 2 hours, 2 times weekly and will benefit from help with cleaning, meal prep and more.
