Operates radiologic equipment to makeclinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnosticprocedures according to established standards and practices.
Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patientcare to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, andgeriatrics.

Qualifications:


MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an AMA approved RadiologicTechnology program.

Registered by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists(R).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing allradiological procedures on

patients of all age groups.
Positions patient, selects the correct protocol,
andutilizes all required equipment.

• Maintains competenciesfor all related components.
• Accurately follows allestablished imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribedstandards and practices.
• Adhere to the Radiation SafetyPolicies and the principles of a viable dosereduction

program.

• Provides patient educationand communications in accordance with prescribedstandards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,ABILITIES:

• Must be able to operate many types of x-rayequipment, including fluoroscopy rooms, radiography rooms, portablex-ray units, mobile c-arms, cysto equipment and other x-rayproducing equipment.
• Must be able to provide othertechnologists instruction on the same equipment.
• Mustbe able to produce quality radiographic exams.
• Mustdeliver SAFE care in accordance with the Alwaysafeprogram.
• Must use AIDET with every encounter and beproficient with service recovery.
