    Position: Landscape Foreman (Stormwater)
    Location: Centre Hall, PA
    ​​​​​Compensation: $22.00-$24.00+ an hour depending on experience and qualifications.
    Travel is required for this position. We provide lodging expenses, $55 daily per diem when traveling, and the use of a company vehicle. 8-12 days per month of travel is typical (M-F only). Offering Summer Travel Bonus

    We're hiring a Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) in Centre Hall, PA to lead our stormwater infrastructure team and oversee landscape and maintenance projects for our clients' stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. If you have prior experience in Landscaping, as a Lawn Maintenance Technician, Construction Worker/General Laborer, Groundskeeper, or if you enjoy working outdoors, we want to hear from you

    What you'll do:
    • Plan, direct, and schedule landscaping, routine maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets).
    • Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members, communicating and enforcing all safety regulations.
    • Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
    • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment and maintain the equipment trailer.
    • Prepare reports and document work in the field using Apex proprietary systems.
    • Travel from the shop location via the company truck to client sites locally and regionally. 8-12 days of travel is typical (M-F only).
    What we're looking for:
    • 2-5 years of experience in outdoor labor (landscaping, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work).
    • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings. We are a drug-free workplace.
    • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation.
    • Experience with staff supervision, safety management, and planning and scheduling.
    • Willingness to travel.
    • Ability to perform various physical tasks (i.e. bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) and work in a variety of weather conditions.​​​​​​
