Location:
On-site in Richland, WA Tri-Cities, Washington)
Start Date:
March 23, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Assignment Length:
13 weeks (potential for extension)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Hours per Week:
36 hours (minimum two weeks per month up to full-time)

Job Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of neurology clinical experience; strong preference for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) care and disease-modifying therapies
Board Certification:
Board certified in Neurology (required)
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted physician license (Washington licensure preferred or eligible) - ideal for candidates seeking Washington locum tenens opportunities
TOUCH Prescribing Program:
Certification to prescribe Tysabri (natalizumab) preferred; willingness to obtain certification acceptable
EEG:
Ability to read and interpret EEGs (required)
EMR:
Experience with Epic required
Efficiency:
Ability to complete new patient visits in 40 minutes and follow-ups in 20 minutes once oriented
Preferred Skills:
EMG, NCV, evoked potentials, peripheral nerve blocks - valuable for comprehensive neurology and MS care
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive neurology evaluation and management, with an emphasis on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) care, neuroimmunology, and disease-modifying therapies
Prescribe and manage Tysabri (natalizumab) therapy in compliance with the TOUCH Prescribing Program
Interpret EEGs and document findings accurately in Epic
Conduct timely patient visits, meeting scheduling expectations for new and follow-up appointments
Coordinate care plans, referrals, follow-up, and patient education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Participate in call coverage when available (one week per month preferred)
