Description
Join our Professional Development & Training Department to help us deliver exceptional-quality client educational programs, projects and initiatives.You will work collaboratively with the firm's operational teams, attorneys and clients to ensure professionalism and quality in all aspects of our service.
This role will report to the Senior Professional Development Manager.This role will be a coordinator or assistant coordinator level (depending on prior experience) and will report to the Senior Professional Development Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage process and logistics both before and after client education programs.
Coordinate pre-program logistics including: creating and maintaining CLE compliance documents, managing substantive materials preparation, ensuring content satisfies multiple CLE jurisdictions and communicating information with Partners and Clients.
Coordinate post-program logistics including: creating and delivering CLE certificates and post program evaluation surveys to clients, finalizing timed agendas and materials, preparing and sending CLE credit applications to requested jurisdictions and tracking responses from CLE Boards and following up as necessary to fulfill CLE requests and inquiries.
Oversee and execute client education programs.
Conduct oversight of physical event logistics, including audio-visual needs, room set-ups, catering, and production and distribution of event materials and other collateral.
Facilitate coordination with various Operations Team departments in the planning and execution of all aspects of on-site and off-site educational and training client programs.
In coordination with the Business Development, Conference Technology and Multimedia teams, serve as point person for the continued development of the firm's technology platforms for live and on demand client programs.
Regularly check-in with teams to ensure that best practices are applied to all educational and training client programs.Create and maintain master menu of client program topics and materials.
Respond to program inquiries for potential programs from Business Development, Partners and/or clients.
In coordination with the Alumni team and third-party vendors, provide CLE credit options to alumni and clients upon request.
Oversee internal and external communications related to client education programs.
Lead weekly update meetings and maintain timely and accurate records of client educational programs in audit-ready format.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports for Senior Professional Development Manager, Directors and Chief.
In coordination with the Marketing and Graphics teams, ensure consistent branding for all programs. Maintain, develop, and update precedent communications, forms, and other materials related to client education programs.
Collaborate with PD&T related to client needs as well as general department projects.
Collaborate with CLE Compliance Specialist as needed to prepare and update annual reporting information for New York and California CLE accreditation boards and respond to board inquiries as needed.
Serve as general back-up support to other Coordinators, Managers, Directors and Chief for all PD&T programs and events.
Required Skills:
B achelor's degree.
One to four years of proven business development or professional development experience in a law firm or a similar professional environment are preferred.
Knowledge of CLE rules a plus but not a prerequisite (we will train you.) Advanced knowledge of Outlook, iManage, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Mail merge capabilities a plusWell organized, with meticulous attention to detail and excellent project/task management skills.
Excellent communication ability, including writing, editing/proofreading, and oral presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Resourceful, driven attitude with a genuine desire and energy to use a "whatever it takes" approach to ensure team success.
This is ahybrid
role which requires in-office attendance in accordance with the schedule set forth by the department. A hybrid schedule is an essential function of this role.
Salary:
$65,000 - $80,000. Paul, Weiss offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. The firm considers a number of factors when determining compensation, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, levels of experience, competency levels and other relevant skills and qualifications.
