    Description:

    Our interdisciplinary design firm is looking for a visionary Design Technology Coordinator interested in applying current and future technologies to our firm's established culture of design. This position provides the opportunity for growth and advancement.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • This position requires ambition, as well as excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for daily use in a dynamic, interactive design team environment.
    • The Design Technology Coordinator will have the support of the offices of our CEO, our Managing Principals, and our CFO, aligning staff and project needs with technology-driven opportunities, inclusive of hardware, software, training, and other investments necessary to innovatively adopt BIM in a consistent manner.
    • The successful candidate will be forward-thinking – proactive in anticipating or identifying then prioritizing the needs of our 150+ Autodesk Revit users based, collectively, in our New York and San Francisco offices.
    • The Design Technology Coordinator will aid in our expansion of BIM tools in future projects. The successful candidate will help to create parametric content, audit and expand BIM workflows, and support project teams in process implementation.
    • Familiarity with lean project practices, including team structure, cloud-based collaboration, and legal controls (digital data agreements, BEPs, etc) is considered a plus.
    • Helpdesk support for Revit and ACC with a keen interest in the broader ecosystem of AEC tools will be expected of the successful candidate.
    • Technical expertise in the design BIM lifecycle (Design Authoring, Documentation, Scheduling, Visualization, XR, etc) will position the Design Technology Coordinator to (i) provide high-level design contributions to many, if not all, BIM projects in the firm and (ii) aid in the facilitation and adoption of workflows, templates, digital asset management, data analysis, and parametric tool development for our users.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Technical expertise in enterprise-wide BIM enabling applications and experience working in a BIM/VDC Coordinator role, including experience with Revit and Civil3D applications.
    • Knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD, Enscape, D5, Dynamo, Grasshopper is greatly beneficial.
    • Knowledge of GIS, Python, Revit API, APS, SQL is beneficial.
    • Successful candidates will have experience working independently and as part of an effective team.

    The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000.
