Automotive Painter

Kenner, LA

An independently owned and operated Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting franchisee is looking for a full-time Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Kenner, Louisiana

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 45+ hours/week
• Occasional Saturday may be necessary

The right candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in auto painting preferred
• Ability to work at production shop pace
• Ability to demonstrate concern for quality
• Experience in single stage and base coat/clear coat finishes is preferred
• Dependability and ability to adapt
• I-Car and OE certifications are a plus
• Leadership skills are a plus
• Valid driver's license required

Our Automotive Painter will:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed
• Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing to achieve a smooth finish
• Perform auto restoration tasks, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and customer expectations
• Collaborate with team members to assess project requirements and timelines
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in minor repairs or adjustments as necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
