    Kearney Electric is hiring multiple Journeymen for work being done at its clients microchip processing plant in the Phoenix area. The project is offering incentive pay and consistent overtime. Kearneys compensation package also includes competitive pay, bonus, and profit sharing.

    Job Description:

    The position is responsible for the precise and timely installation of work, emphasizing safety and superior quality. In a leadership role, you set the work pace, provide a positive example, and demonstrate competence in various areas such as tool knowledge, blueprint reading, and installation techniques. With a focus on safety and professionalism, the Journeyman Electrician contributes to Kearneys values and standards, showcasing autonomy and supervision skills while maintaining a high standard of excellence.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Install electrical work as directed.
    • Set the work pace and demonstrate an excellent attitude to provide role model for others.
    • Coordinate installation work with other team members using effective and professional communication.
    • Train, develop and coach other employees to improve their skills and abilities.
    • Coordinate material, tool, and equipment requirements with supervisor and order materials as directed.
    • Promote best-in-class safety practices and procedures. Promote a culture of exceptional safety.
    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of trade practices and code, tools and equipment, theory, and installation skills.

    Requirements:

    • years verifiable work experience in electrical commercial construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
    • school or apprenticeship desired.
    • competence and high standard of excellence in the following areas: tool knowledge, blueprint reading, installing cable tray, work safety, branch piping, and maintaining personal focus and productivity.
    • attention to detail and work ethic.
    • to effectively communicate with supervisors, employees, and clients.
    • to distinguish colors of electrical materials.
