    *MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST 13 WEEK CONTRACT IN ATLANTA, GA*Travel Contract (Must Reside 50+ Miles Away)


    _As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the early detection of breast cancer by performing mammography screenings and assisting radiologists in the diagnosis of breast abnormalities.

    You will operate specialized mammography equipment, ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, and maintain accurate patient records._

    *$2,529.00 per Week (Taxed + Non-Taxed)

    Days

    5x8 Hr. Shifts (40 Hrs. per Week)

    *Responsibilities:
    • Perform mammography screenings in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
    • Position patients correctly and comfortably for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality.
    • Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images of breast tissue.
    • Assist radiologists in the interpretation of mammograms and other breast imaging studies.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the sterilization of equipment and supplies.
    • Educate patients about the mammography procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
    • Participate in quality assurance activities, including image quality assessment and equipment maintenance.
    • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
    *Qualifications:
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography.
    • Minimum of 2 yrs. of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
    • Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
    • Strong knowledge of mammography techniques, equipment, and imaging principles.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
    • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.
