Position Overview

Health Choice Network is seeking an Epic Certified Application Analyst – Cadence / Referrals / Prelude to support the design, build, testing, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of Epic scheduling and registration workflows.

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate patient scheduling, efficient registration processes, and seamless integration across the Epic platform.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on Epic build experience, expertise in Cadence/Prelude scheduling workflows, and the ability to translate operational needs into effective system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Epic Cadence, Referrals & Prelude Build + Optimization

  • Design, build, test, and optimize provider schedules, visit types, templates, and scheduling workflows
  • Configure and support registration, check‑in, benefits, referrals, and data collection workflows
  • Lead system enhancements and workflow improvements based on operational needs
  • Ensure workflow design aligns with patient access and scheduling best practices

System Support & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the primary support contact for Cadence / Referrals / Prelude end users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to scheduling, registration, referrals, and integration points
  • Participate in system upgrades, regression testing, new releases, and maintenance cycles
  • Identify issues that impact integrated Epic modules and collaborate to resolve them

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with schedulers, operational leaders, patient access teams, and IT staff
  • Serve as a liaison between end-user workflow needs and technical implementation teams
  • Communicate system changes clearly to non‑technical users
  • Participate in weekly project meetings, workgroups, and optimization initiatives

Training, Documentation & Communication

  • Provide workflow guidance and support to end users
  • Assist with training materials, job aids, and go‑live readiness activities
  • Maintain documentation for build, workflows, testing scripts, and change management

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Epic Certification in Referrals (Required – must be current)
  • 2+ years of Epic build and application support experience
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Provider scheduling workflows
    • Registration workflows
    • Referrals and authorization processes
    • Data collection and patient access operations
  • Experience with workflow analysis, design, build, and system testing
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
