Job Title: Senior Android Developer /Kotlin Engineer

Work Location: California and Atlanta, GA (Day 1 Onsite )

Position Summary:

Android/Kotlin Engineer. Can be remote but needs to be Central time. This person is going to transition to a lead so communication needs to be 10/10.

Job Description:

Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers in designing and implementing high-quality mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, architect, and deliver new features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Drive the adoption of best practices for Android development, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Work closely with product managers and designers to create delightful user experiences.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and Android updates

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Lead Android Engineer or similar leadership role.
Extensive experience with Android development using Kotlin.
Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose for building modern, reactive UIs.
In-depth knowledge of the Android platform, architecture components, and best practices.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in mobile development, with a recent focus on Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
A strong portfolio of Android applications on the Google Play Store
