    Description

    Mark III Construction is currently seeking a HVAC Trainee for the Sacramento area. This HVAC Trainee will be responsible for assisting HVAC service technicians with routine repairs along with the knowledge listed below.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customer.
    • Comprehend directions and retain knowledge.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and adjustments, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operation, and be capable of learning how to do a profitable P.M.
    • Determine the cause of, and correct, condensation problems.
    • Prepare records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions.
    • Prepare and submit requests for supplies for van stock.
    • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner including workorder, quote requests and weekly timesheets.
    • Have general mechanical and light electrical capability is a plus.
    • Be available and willing to travel and work overtime, when necessary.
    • Follow all pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures, and safety regulations to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
    • Maintain all company tools, equipment, and company vehicle and have own hand tools.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Trade school education a plus.
    • HVAC Experience is a plus
    • Computer literate with the ability to navigate software programs via a tablet or smartphone.
    • Must have a clean driving record.

    Hourly Wage: $20/hour - $22/hour DOE
