Duties
- Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Manage existing accounts through proactive account management, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging CRM software tools like Salesforce for efficient lead tracking
- Conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting features and benefits
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that support business development efforts
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory management using CRM systems
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential within existing accounts
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales and technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and territory sales efficiently
- Expertise in lead generation techniques including cold calling and direct sales approaches
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to ensure long-term relationships
- Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical sales presentations that resonate with clients' needs
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop strategic action plans
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and retail sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that support business growth initiatives
- Ability to work independently in inside sales environments while collaborating effectively with team members
