Duties

Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories
Manage existing accounts through proactive account management, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging CRM software tools like Salesforce for efficient lead tracking
Conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to client needs, highlighting features and benefits
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence
Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that support business development efforts
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory management using CRM systems
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential within existing accounts

Skills

Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales and technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and territory sales efficiently
Expertise in lead generation techniques including cold calling and direct sales approaches
Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to ensure long-term relationships
Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical sales presentations that resonate with clients' needs
Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop strategic action plans
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and retail sales experience preferred
Knowledge of marketing strategies that support business growth initiatives
Ability to work independently in inside sales environments while collaborating effectively with team members
