Job Summary:The incumbent is responsible for the general oversight of the
Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, including
undergraduate and graduate degree programs, administration and
budgets and personnel, recruitment and retention, strategic planning,
and establishment/maintenance of productive professional
relationships to effectively achieve the goals and objectives of the
Department.
In-depth knowledge of Health, Physical Education and Recreation
Knowledge of trends and best practices in higher education related to
HPER
Demonstrated integrity

Strong time management skills
Passion for teaching and engaging with students
Skilled in mentoring students

and research HPER-related programs at the university level
