Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Perform job duties while following all safety policies and procedures
- Deliver aggregates and blacktop material to customers
- Ability to communicate with customers and internal personnel
- Ability to navigate to customer locations
- Responsible for keeping truck clean and free of debris
- Position is full-time Monday – Friday with weekend work and night shifts as needed
- Must be willing to work out of town for extended periods of time
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license
- Must be able to drive a manual shift vehicle (18-speed transmission)
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years CDL class driving experience
- Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations
- Must be familiar with NYS DOT Rules and Regulations
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle driver abstract
- Must have a current DOT Physical
- Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
- Must be able to complete a pre/post trip inspection of the vehicle
Compensation:
Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.
Hourly Rate: $25.00-$27.00/Hour
Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
