Accruals increase with years of service at The Rapid What will you be doing in this role Perform daily dispatching related activities; coordinate trip assignments monitor radio communications monitor operator adherence show reporting times Maintain all dispatch records including daily time records prepare reports Perform Bus Operator appraisals including onboard evaluation driving customer service Provide direct road supervision monitor operator adherence schedules operating procedures Respond assist operators when accidents occur perform accident investigation techniques provide assistance passenger problems respond road calls/breakdowns Schedule as required cover late absent Operators Assist safety security operations Federal State Local Law enforcement personnel Make minor repairs replace coin bill modules electronic fare boxes Prepare compile submit timely reports work activities operations production or work-related accidents/incidents Other duties assigned To be successful in this role need Associate degree business management field preferred equivalent experience considered education One two years related experience public transportation preferred Ability pass criminal background check pre-employment drug screen Basic computer skills Microsoft Office Suite Previous work scheduling software preferred Ability learn proprietary software/hardware necessary Physical Demands Position requires extended periods walking standing must lift pounds May also include frequent bending stooping squatting pushing pulling Employee performs job duties accordance existing health safety procedures policies Required sit extended periods Use hands arms reach use various tools objects Specific vision abilities close vision ability adjust focus.
