    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct global patent prosecution and manage patent portfolios for clients.
    • Provide expertise in freedom to operate and patent clearance assessments.
    • Engage in licensing agreements and other technology transactions.
    • Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective legal support and coordination.

    Requirements:

    • A registered practitioner with the USPTO.
    • 8-14 years of experience as an Intellectual Property Attorney.
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Active Bar license in Texas.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in global patent prosecution and portfolio management.
    • Knowledge of freedom to operate and patent clearance procedures.
    • Previous involvement in licensing and technology transactions.
    • Proven track record in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
