    Job Overview & Responsibilities:

    The Senior Technical Accountant position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end accounting close process and assisting with the preparation and tie-out of the Companys internal and external financial statements.

    This role will be a critical part of the accounting department ensuring accounting records are prepared and reviewed timely and accurately.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze and record accounting transactions for Corporate and clinic level accrued expenses and miscellaneous higher risk balance sheet accounts.
    • Record monthly expense allocation entries attributable to clinics.
    • Coordinate expense allocation methodologies and review results with Corporate Finance team.
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations for all assigned areas.
    • Prepare monthly variance analytics for all assigned areas.
    • Assist with preparation of analyses and reporting in support of Corporate Finance monthly internal reporting process.
    • Assist with preparation and tie-out of quarterly and annual external reporting, including US GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.
    • Work directly with external audit team to ensure timely response to audit requests and follow up discussions.
    • Perform ad hoc accounting research of technical accounting topics as needed in support of the Companys ongoing compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
    • Assist with Companys internal control processes to ensure internal controls are implemented and appropriately evidenced on a monthly basis.
    • Participate in continuous improvement projects within the department.
    Qualifications & Pay Range:

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
    • 3+ years of experience in audit within national accounting firm.
    • CPA certification is highly preferred.
    • Experienced analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Strong Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
    • Ability to work autonomously and in a team focused environment.
    • Strong organization and detail orientation skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
