We are a printing company offering a wide range of products from beverage to consumer. We are now looking for a Manager, Planning to join their busy, growing, and successful team.

    Burlington, KY

    $90-115K plus excellent benefits package

    To be successful in this role:

    You will be a confident Manager of Planning with 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Other requirements for this role include:

    Experience of working with customers

    Experience across sales planning, capacity and production forecasting

    Ability to translate forecasts and historical data sets to drive production and operational efficiency

    Advanced knowledge of Excel, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, ERP Systems, and business analytics software (PowerBI etc).:

    Job role and responsibilities:

    The Manager of Planning is responsible for overseeing the efficient planning of the plant to maximize company profitability, meet customer demand, and optimize capacity utilization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the production planning team to maximize profitability and service levels through effective order and backlog management:

    • Oversee team to efficiently plan work through the plant assets to maximize overall equipment effectiveness and meet customer delivery dates.
    • Establish, maintain, and optimize inventory levels
    • Translate forecasts, and historical data sets for backlog management and planned capacity utilization
    • Understand plant capacity levels in relation to current business and potential new business
    • Evolve and maintain standard reporting for purposes of driving enhanced communication internally and externally
    • Collaborate with both commercial and internal leaders and teams to create greater clarity on planned backlog, production, inventory, and service targets
    • Participation in regular customer meetings to overview demand patterns and planned production cycles
    • Assist in the building and developing a formal planning team.
