Our growing business is looking for a talented, motivated, and passionate environmental consultant (senior-level position) to join our innovative high-performing team.
We work one to three days a week in our Houston office and 2-4 days a week from home with some opportunities for work travel, as allowed per project.

The successful candidate will have the following competencies:5 + years of environmental consulting experienceBS/ MS Degree in environmental science or related field
Strong professional work ethic, initiative and integrity
Project experience should include:
– Work with Nature-based Solutions projects
– Biodiversity Plans
– Impact Assessments
– leading EIA, baseline studies, due diligence assessment, and related services
Willingness to occasionally travel to and work in developing countries on short (normally one week or less) assignments
Ability to accomplish work assignments without extensive direction
Ability to communicate in foreign language(s) is a strong plus

Must have authorization to work in the US if not a citizen.
The location of this position is at Acorn International's Houston office.
