HVAC Technician

Shift:
Mon-Fri. 8am – 5pm. And on call rotation.

HVAC Technician will perform HVAC and Mechanical preventive maintenance and repairs. This will also include general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical lighting and other tasks as needed. Possess hands on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems (including cooling towers, pumps, motors, air handlers)

Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition.

General interior maintenance – hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, repair doors, moves office furniture / machinery / equipment, and other task as assigned.

Complies with all policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous material.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of all work areas.
Ability to recognize, assess and mitigate or eliminate risk. 2 Years of HVAC experience.
~ Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office).
~ Skilled in use of the internet to navigate to and use web-based applications.
~ Ability to work exposed to heat, sunlight, rain, cold, daylight and nighttime hours as required.
~ Position requires participation in an on-call rotation that could include holidays/weekends depending on the rotation.

2 years' experience as an HVAC Technician
~ Proficient computer skills and experience working with CMMS and Building Automation Systems is desirable.
