- Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and coordinating on matters of policy, doctrine, and planning as they pertain to the various aspects of supplies and services management.
- Investigates and analyzes logistics related problems or materiel condition reviews associated with general questions about logistics programs or operations.
- Serves as the ASCC Decision Support Tool (DST) Subject Matter Expert (SME) with emphasis on the Distribution Synchronization Module (DSM).
- Provides technical advice and recommendations on logistics matters involving assigned areas.
- Reviews the logistics portions of USPACOM's OPLANs and CONPLANS for adequacy and material supportability, recommending changes where appropriate.
- Provides USPACOM and service component commands information, advice, and assistance on Army logistics policy and requirements applicable to assigned areas.
