Job summary

The Department of Music at High Point University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate studio voice lessons to voice majors, minors, and non-majors
  • Serve as director of vocal division and help give guidance to adjunct voice faculty
  • Participate in departmental and university service with special focus on recruitment
    • Participate in innovative teaching and curriculum development and assessment

      Qualifications

      • PhD or DMA in voice performance or equivalent degree
      • Experience teaching at the college/university level/li>Be a good communicator collaborator team player who can thrive in a dynamic fast-paced extraordinary environment
