    Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their firm. The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients who have been injured due to the negligence or wrongdoing of others, advocating for their rights and helping them obtain fair compensation for their injuries. This role requires strong legal expertise, negotiation skills, and compassion for clients dealing with challenging situations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct initial consultations with clients to evaluate the merits of their personal injury claims and provide legal advice and guidance.
    • Investigate claims by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing medical records and other documentation.
    • Draft legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and file them with the appropriate courts.
    • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients, striving to achieve favorable outcomes.
    • Prepare for and represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations, advocating for their interests and presenting evidence and arguments effectively.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress, answer questions, and address concerns.
    • Collaborate with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals to strengthen clients' cases and maximize recovery.
    • Stay updated on changes to personal injury laws and regulations, attending legal seminars and continuing education courses as needed.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to support professional development.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state.
    • 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law, with a successful track record of representing clients in a variety of personal injury cases.
    • Strong litigation skills, including experience conducting depositions, arguing motions, and trying cases in court.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, opposing counsel, and jurors.
    • Compassion and empathy for clients who have suffered injuries and are facing challenges in their recovery.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
    • Commitment to ethical and professional conduct, adhering to legal standards and principles at all times.
