    Our company focuses on providing the most comfortable, dynamic, and inspiring space for people to work and connect. As a neighborhood-centric brand, we are the option for people who prefer to walk or bike to work. We are community-driven; this is part of how we positively impact the world. Our brand is California-centric. We focus on providing value to the planet's economic and creative leaders who call the state home.

    We currently have 6 locations in Southern California; we will return to embarking on a 5-year journey that will include completing an additional 44 sites throughout the state once we recover from the effects of the pandemic.

    UNION COWORK - Community Manager

    Overview

    The Community Manager (CM) is a dynamic personality able to manage multiple roles: property management, tenant management, public relations, social media, marketing + sales, business development. The job requires an independent spirit focused on meeting and exceeding goals set with their management team.

    Neighborhood Space

    Each Union Cowork location celebrates the unique character of the surrounding community while instilling our take on community-building and relationship-making. Our typical Cowork environment is 10,000 to 15,000 square feet and houses people from the surrounding area. We offer three types of membership:

    • Flex Desk Membership - Non-reserved space for people to work, study and interact.
    • Dedicated Desk - Reserved space for single users to teams of 3-5 people
    • Private Office - Reserved space that is private with a lockable door.

    We also have day passes, conference rooms, and event space for rent and provide drop-in access hourly and daily.

    Community Manager Roles:

    Property Management

    Operations + Physical Space

    Oversee daily operations of the building and property:

    • Manage Building Systems - mechanical, IT infrastructure, plumbing, electric, landscape, security
    • Manage Cowork Space - office cleanliness, decor, repairs, outdoor gardens, and parking, process invoicing and billing,
    • Manage Cowork Amenities - beverage services, conference room scheduling, community bicycle program
    • Hire and Manage Consultants - janitorial, utilities, handyman, window washers, garbage collection, pest control, other

    Member Host

    Community Development

    Manage and develop relationships with Union Members and their Guests:

    • Schedule and provide tours to potential new members
    • Execute new membership agreements
    • Onboard new members
    • Manage ongoing Member requests and conflict
    • Retain Membership levels
    • Manage Membership agreements and renewals
    • Create and implement a social calendar for Members
    • Schedule and coordinate events with strategic business partners
    • Website blog post updates
    • Weekly newsletter to Members
    • Manage relationships with local Union nonprofit partners
    • Manage ongoing Member events; monthly member events, quarterly special events, holiday parties
    • Manage 3rd party event rentals

    Marketing + Sales

    Business Development

    Create and manage relationships with potential clients, local businesses, and nonprofits:

    • Create monthly, quarterly and annual goals with the management team. Support these goals by developing new marketing campaigns and implementing advertising strategies.
    • Develop consistent and creative social media postings, blogs, other print, and visual media
    • Build relationships with influencers and business leaders within the community.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Director to implement new marketing strategies
    • Attend local business development workshops and networking events

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years in hospitality, customer service, or related role.
    • G-Suite and basic google spreadsheet knowledge.
    • Sales experience is a plus.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must live in Glendora or adjacent city.
    • Must be 21+.
