Job summary
The primary responsibilities for this position consist of providing total comprehensive continuous and patient centered care which includes assessing documenting planning implementing teaching developing evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care delivering direct patient care ensuring patient satisfaction training delegating duties for Nursing Care Technicians (Nursing Assistant) adhering to University policies procedures federal state local regulations.This environment supports collaborative efforts among the nursing staff team physicians increase communication enhance expected patient outcomes This includes utilization nursing process conjunction comprehensive patient-centered plan care ensuring patient satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have following knowledge Maslow's eight Basic Human Needs priority Gordon's Functional Health Patterns Frame Work Swanson's Caring model superb direct patient care critical thinking skills basic computer navigation skills working knowledge internet ability communicate professional respectful manner patients families co-workers physicians strong organizational prioritization delegation skill.
