    Senior Accountant
    Parsec Automation is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Anaheim, CA.

    You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis activities.

    You will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


    What you will do:
    Post and reconcile cash. Review and approve accounts payable, corporate card, and reimbursement classifications. Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries.
    Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.

    Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to review, modify, and approve activity required for reporting needs and for the close cycle.

    This includes revenue recognition, capitalization, and compliance.
    Partner with FP&A to support the preparation of financial reports and analyses, including budget vs. actual comparisons, trend analysis, and variance explanations. Assist in providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.
    Design and document procedures. Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and streamline accounting processes.

    Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing analytical support, and contributing to cross-functional teams as needed.


    Who you are:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
    3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the technology, software, or public accounting industries.
    Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
    Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, NetSuite, Ramp) and Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Teams)
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required.


    Compensation/Benefits:
    90-100K
