Job Summary
We are looking for A strong lead teacher to run our 18 months-2.5 year old classroom This is a small classroom of max 9 students ,2 teachers We believe in empowering lead teachers to be an extension of our entire team and our philosophy; thriving children , empowered teachers , and supported families We expect that preparing children to thrive is your passion and that you will be as committed to quality childcare as we are
Responsibilities
- Teaches fundamentals of social physical intellectual and motor skill development by preparing course objectives outlining course curriculum guidelines following state and school requirements
- Sets up lesson plans by determining a logical course of instruction building upon learned skills and knowledge Instructs children by conducting activities both individual and group to stimulate growth in language social and motor skills Mentors students by encouraging developing skills efforts in a positive manner Teaches rules conduct how listen playing with others using play equipment cooperative social behaviors personal hygiene etc Broadens students knowledge base teaching performance improvisation analysis evaluation Promotes discussions dramatic playacting Encourages children sing dance promotes selfexpression Offers background providing historical relevance Provides periods rest strenuous activity Maintains order class playground Recognizes strengths weaknesses observing students behavior mannerisms Takes into consideration outside influences personality length session encourage commitment interest Looks detect signs illness emotional disturbance observing behavior Discusses progress problems parents Maintains professional technical knowledge attending educational workshops reviewing publications establishing personal networks benchmarking stateart practices participating professional societies Contributes team effort accomplishing related results needed
