    Senior Engineer - Amazon Connect
    Duration: 3-month contract/ Right to hire
    Contract hourly pay rate up to $80/hr

    Our client's Enterprise Voice team is seeking a highly motivated, process-oriented Software Engineer for our contact center technologies.
    You will help drive our insurance business transformation as we redefine the experience for our customers.


    Job Description:


    Our Senior Engineer is a mid-level member of the Voice engineering staff ensuring we provide a frictionless experience to our customers and maintain the highest standards of security and availability.

    Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high-quality technology products and services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.

    The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge, typically ranging from front-end UIs through back-end systems and all points in between.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Provides technical leadership within a team's functional area

    Senior Engineer consistently writes production-ready code or configuration with defined standards of readability, maintainability, reliability, and testability, and accounts for edge cases and errors.

    Also, helps other engineers to produce the same.
    Specifies the design and implementation of software modules based on system requirements and architectural guidance
    Makes significant contributions to design, code, architectural, security, observability, and performance review activities
    Translates business needs into technical requirements
    Participates in the formulation of non-functional requirements
    Understands and implements secure design practices


    Job Qualifications:
    Experience with Amazon Connect including Contact Flows, Security Profiles, Routing Profiles, Queues, Quick Connects
    Experience with Amazon Web Services including Lambda, Lex, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, CloudWatch
    Advanced experience using multiple programming languages including , Python, C#
    Experience implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
    Experience integrating with internal and external applications
    Demonstrated deep understanding and ability to complete DevOps tasks
    Proficient in complex debugging and root cause analysis
    Expert in building test suites and frameworks to automate end-to-end testing
    Demonstrated expertise in software, data, and system design and the appropriate use of patterns and idioms
    Contributed to improvements in organizational metrics such as DORA metrics that measure improvements in team velocity and stability of service delivery
    Experience and understanding of Security Protocols and Products such as Active Directory, SAML, IAM

    Communicates effectively, clearly, concisely, and in an audience-oriented way, in written and verbal form, on both technical and non-technical subjects.

    Actively listens to others and ensures they are understood.
    Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
    AWS Certifications at the Associate, Professional, or Specialty Level

    Required Experience:

    4+ years of experience in Contact Center technologies and Cloud Architecture
    4+ years of professional software development experience
    2+ years of hands-on experience developing Contact Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues Lambdas, and Lex Bots
    2+ years of experience using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code
    2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
