Our client is an industry leading consumer-based company and they are looking for an Accounting Supervisor that focuses on Fixed Assets to join their team.

This will be a hybrid position based out of their Rochester, NY office . Salary falls in the $80-85k range with flexibility at the top for the right background.

Who We're Looking For:

Do you enjoy playing a crucial role in ensuring that a company's fixed assets are properly accounted for and managed? In this role you'll be overseeing the accounting process related to fixed assets including financial forecasts, journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Prepare monthly financial forecastsSupervise accountants including reviewing work performed and additions to the sub-ledger (fixed assets)Assist with month/year-end closingsPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, key financial reportsResearch and resolve variancesAssist in annual budgeting processQualifications for SuccessBachelor's Degree in Accounting requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred5+ years of accounting experience, with some experience in public accounting preferredGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenAbility to manage a large volume of complex dataTeam oriented and collaborative approach.
