About this Position:

The Onsite Athletic Trainer role will operate as a client's contract employee working within a team of 2-3 other athletic trainers.

The ideal candidate for this position should be motivated to grow and advance in the occupational health space. This position will help cultivate and grow a culture of safety, health, wellbeing at a large manufacturing facility.

Narrative Description:

The Onsite Athletic Trainer will work at a client site with a small team of athletic trainers providing industrial/occupational health and prevention services.

Operate within the athletic training scope of practice and applicable government regulation:
Risk Reduction, Wellness and Health Literacy
Health Care Administration and Professional Responsibility

The primary function of this position is to provide early intervention care to general population employees thus mitigating risk and preventing injury.

Maintain a visual presence for the client's employees to be available when needed.
Maintain effective communication lines with client EHS, HR, Work Comp, and Operational Leadership.
Build, develop, manage, and present training, educational programs, etc. Document patient treatment per professional and regulatory standards while ensuring the security of sensitive records is always maintained.
Assist the client's environmental health and safety team as needed with miscellaneous activities.
Iowa Athletic Training Licensure or Eligibility for Iowa Athletic Training Licensure.
