    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with Senior Research Coordinator and CHSL faculty to develop study protocols and protocol amendments for the IRB as needed, including the development of new survey measures.
    • Prepare reports and IRB submissions. Follow up on IRB and study subject issues. Develop appropriate progress reports.
    • Manage data collection, analysis, and cleaning, performing regular audits to ensure that the data collected are complete and accurate, and that the research is being conducted as outlined in the protocol and that the Senior Research Coordinator and faculty stay informed.
    • Assist with preparation of grant proposals (new and competing renewals). Assist CHSL faculty in gathering the required documents and data needed to prepare grant applications. Secure related supporting letters and attachments required for grants and contracts.
    • Facilitate the preparation of conference abstracts, oral presentations, and poster presentations, and participate in the development of manuscripts for publication.
    • Assist the Senior Research Coordinator with compiling reports and literature reviews to further CHSL initiatives and projects.
    • Represent CHSL at internal and external academic meetings and community events. Act as a liaison to project partners to discuss new procedures that could be implemented.
    • Support and supervise undergraduate and graduate student research interns.
    • Have the opportunity to attend departmental and division Grand Rounds, Pediatric Research Day, and other learning opportunities.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience and Educational Background:

    • Bachelors degree
    • 1-3 years of related experience

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to apply technology to resolve problems.
    • Outstanding judgment, initiative, and attention to detail are essential.
    • Can be relied upon to ensure that activities within areas of specific responsibility are completed in a timely manner and within budget
    • Outline project goals and timelines and reviews progress at defined intervals.
    • Strong writing and analytical skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well in a team setting and independently is essential.
    • Experience with qualitative research methods preferred.
    Minimum Salary Range:
    USD $58,500.00/Yr.

    Maximum Salary Range:
    USD $61,000.00/Yr.

    About Us:

    The Sr. Study Coordinator supports research project activities for the Community Health Systems Lab (CHSL), within the Division of Community and Population Health in the Department of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Reporting directly to CHSLs Senior Research Coordinator, the Study Coordinator assists the team with the development of literature reviews, data management, collection of qualitative data, study development, protocol development and execution, and the dissemination of results. The Study Coordinator may train other associates on specific tasks, if required and performs related work as required.
