MAYSVILLE CAMPUS:
CUSTODIAL WORKER IIThis position performs basic janitorial duties, minor building maintenance tasks, and grounds-keeping, maintaining a safe, clean and pleasant atmosphere for students, faculty and staff


Job Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performs daily cleaning of classrooms and offices such as; dusting, taking out trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming, wiping down base boards and cleaning cobwebs from ceilings.
• Performs daily cleaning, disinfecting, and maintenance of restrooms.
• Performs minor repairs and assists maintenance technician in major repairs.
• Is responsible for maintaining, ordering, and restocking cleaning supplies, paper products, and trash bags.
• Replaces light bulbs, ballasts, ceiling tiles, etc.
• Assists in grounds upkeep which may occasionally require the use of lawn equipment and salting of steps and sidewalks.
• Moves furniture and equipment for event setups.
• Performs floor maintenance such as; shampooing carpet, sweeping, moping, stripping, waxing and buffing.
• Is responsible for setup during special events

Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED, and six months related experience, or equivalent.
Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
