Job summary
The Patient Advocate serves as the primary point of contact for the identification management and resolution of assigned complaints grievances and requests communicated by and/or on behalf of the populations served by Sheppard Pratt.Responsibilities
- Engages with the patient/patient representative to assure protection of patient rights facilitate communication between patients and staff educate patients (or secure appropriate resources to do so) on the topic of their concern so that matters are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory requirements.
