- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
- Process bi-weekly payroll using Paychex or other software.
- Enter payroll data into the general ledger system.
- Track and manage vacation and sick leave accruals.
- Enroll employees in benefits programs and facilitate deductions.
- Assist in reconciling additional balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in posting adjustments to the general ledger.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist and Accounting Clerk
- Experience with Paychex is a plus or a similar payroll software
- Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
