EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Account Executive.
In this critical role, you will identify new opportunities for betterment and use your ability to reason and translate clinical information in a manner appropriate for clinical and non-clinical audiences in a way that is second to none.

What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Account Executive, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities: Develop new clinical strategies to improve the health of our members by analyzing and interpreting prescription claims dataProvide oversight of clinical programs developed by third partiesMeet with clients to discuss clinical trends, review relevant pharmacy data, and provide recommendations/supportive rationale for clinical management strategiesSupport growth of pharmacy product, as well as assist in developing a robust clinical management playbook and training platform for sales initiatives and client managementTranslate and decipher how current pharmacy/healthcare trends will affect our clinical strategiesProvide drug information and act as the clinical consultant/expert on the account teamProactively make recommendations for clients to stay ahead of the curve regarding drug pipeline activity (new generics, new brands, new clinical rules and specialty)
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus among all departments while supporting overall sales initiativeSupport RFI and RFP submissionsPerform other responsibilities and projects on as needed basisWhat You Need:
At least five (5) years of pharmacy experience working for a leading Health Plan or PBM with an industry track record of highly managed clinical pharmacy benefit management strategies.
PharmD (required)At least three (3) years of experience in analyzing raw prescription claims data in ExcelDeep knowledge of highly managed specialty medications/strategy, formulary development and maintenance process, including rigorous evaluation of pharmaceutical products and ranking products based on valueA solid understanding of what concierge service means as it pertains to client managementExcellent written and oral skills, both in developing materials and presenting to senior clientsDesire to work in a fast-paced, exciting start-up environment with the ability to multi-task and work outside the non-clinical environmentExceptional clinical, business and relationship building skills and must possess the ability to apply sound clinical judgment to a variety of situationsKnowledge and ability to participate in the pharmacy benefits sales processProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to travel occasionallyExtensive knowledge of inner workings of PBM or Health Plan pharmacy programKnowledge of PBM and pharmacy services contracts and contracting processRetail Pharmacist backgroundExtensive knowledge of inner workings of PBM or Health Plan pharmacy program preferredKnowledge of PBM and pharmacy services contracts and contracting process preferredRetail Pharmacist background preferredWhy Join Us:
