    Description
    *Role: Release Manager

    *Location: 3200 Hackberry Road, Irving , Tx 75063

    *Contract Length : Long term

    *Tax Term : W2/1099**Job Summary

    • The Release Manager is part of the Information Technology Team.
    • They are responsible for leading the implementation of all relevant Change Management and Release processes across multiple internal teams for both Internal and external facing applications.
    • The Release Manager will represent the IT team in CAB meetings to review scope and readiness and track approvals across various stakeholders to ensure smooth and planned deployment of changes without any roadblocks on impediments.
    *Responsibilities & Duties

    • Create Change Requests in ServiceNow or similar tools and follow the Change Approval Baord (CAB) Process to receive approvals for Releases
    • Facilitates Internal Meetings for multiple internal teams to align on Major and Minor Releases as well as Production Releases. This includes release notes, approvals, communications, contact lists, and pre and post-release verification activities
    • Coordinate with the DevOps team for Release Planning and execution of releases
    • Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected
    • Implement best practices and identify opportunities for continuous operational and team improvements
    • Communicates crucial release plans and changes to both internal and external stakeholders as relevant
    *Must Have

    • IT Release Manager Experience- 5 Plus years
    • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
    • Expertise in best practices in ITIL Release and Change Management
    • Experience in conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
    • Familiar with the modern release management processes based on CI/CD methodology
