    Description

    Job Description Summary This job involves ensuring compliance with NCAA, ACC, and Wake Forest University regulations within the athletic compliance office. You'll collaborate closely with compliance and coaching staff to provide education on rules, update policies, and monitor program activities.

    • Educate and oversee compliance for WFU camps and clinics according to policies and NCAA rules.
    • Provide guidance on playing and practice season requirements for all teams.
    • Monitor all aspects of recruiting activities across sports programs.
    • Review and approve compliance forms for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
    • Manage team roster updates and assist with transfer portal processes.
    • Offer support for coaches and staff in utilizing software applications.

    Other Functions:

    • Supervise student interns and perform other assigned duties.

    Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 months of compliance experience at an NCAA institution.
    • Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
    • Experience with compliance software systems.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask, work flexibly, and maintain attention to detail.
    • Willingness to work evenings and weekends if required.
    • Capacity to handle confidential information professionally.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with coaches, staff, and campus partners.

    Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Graduate Degree preferred.
    • 1-2 years of compliance experience at NCAA Division I level.
    • Proficiency in NCAA Compliance software applications.
    • Skills in leveraging technology for process improvement.
    Accountabilities: You are responsible for your work.
