Description

Mechanical Engineer interested in designing industrial machines.
Primary responsibilities

Calculate design requirements based on technical specifications (heat, load, resistance, wear, size, etc.) - Select materials to be used in the designs- Design the components, tools and machinery.

Develop specifications based on marketing, engineering and customer need.
Define and coordinate workload, managing multiple projects and cross-functional team.
Oversee engineering development through all stages including concept design, engineering, prototyping, qualification, production startup and follow-on technical problem resolution.
Establish and manage project timeline and budget.
Interface with customers and develop supporting internal/external product documentation.
Candidates Must Have
Experienced with machine design, CAD modeling, and design detail and drafting per ASME Y14.5.
Proficiency with Solid Works.
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial, hands-on engineer with a strong work ethic and "can-do" attitude.
Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of time.
Other Relevant Qualifications
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing.
Experience with robots and machine/system design and/or manufacture.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
