POSITION BRIEF:

This engineer will develop software as well as lead software systems engineering projects, as a key member of the engineering team developing EO sensor systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position will be a lead software systems engineer, designing and developing software for the design and development of Electro-Optical systems.
• This position will be part of the company's efforts in the development of technology and products, including assisting in the following roles: proposal development, technology design and development, prototype design and development, process development, product development.
• This position will be responsible for developing software and systems from the technology development stage through the production stage.
• This position will work with management developing new technology and products.
• This position will assist engineering and R&D teams on technical issues related to software engineering.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/MS in Engineering.
• Must have very strong experience designing and developing military electro-optic systems. This includes expertise developing electro-optical sensor systems, infrared and thermal imaging systems, IR laser systems, optical systems, etc.
• Must have technical expertise to lead software engineering designs.
• Must have experience designing systems for manufacturing.
